Scope Of Work

1) RP Chemicals Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. has engaged Global Testing Services (GTS) to carry out Tan Delta electrical testing on HV Equipment (Surge Arrester, Current Transformer, Circuit Breaker, Capacitive Voltage Transformer and Voltage Transformer) at 132kV Switchyard in April 2019. This Tan Delta electrical testing is part of routine maintenance tests conducted on the above installation. These tests are performed in order to verify the condition and reliability of these HV equipment in service.
 
2) RP Chemicals Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Has engaged Global Testing Services (GTS) to carry out Tan Delta electrical testing of 11kV Electrical Cable 1C & 3C XLPE and 1C EPR cables installed in 132/11kV Main Substation in April 2019. These HV Power Cable electrical tests are conducted as part of routine testing in order to verify the integrity and reliability of these cables in service.

Project Challenges

Two weeks working at RP Chemical Malaysia plant, the GTSM team contributed as one of the contractors to perform electrical testing in this plant Turnaround 2019. It is quite challenging working in a hot weather without even one day of rain, our team needed to stay hydrated to carry out the job and maintain the work quality. They manage to complete all tasks within the given period without any delay or penalty.
