Global Testing Services' (GTS) aim is to meet or surpass all environmental legislation and regulations and endeavour to always improve its environmental performance. GTS is committed to protecting the environment so all activities that propose an impact or risk by the company are identified, assessed and controlled. GTS is committed to the reduction and recycling of waste and also to the safe disposal of hazardous materials as per government environmental regulations.

GTS is dedicated to sustainable development throughout our operations in testing and commissioning high voltage equipment for our clients.

To deliver sustainable development, GTS:
  • Communicates this Environmental Policy and procedures to all employees;
  • Comply with environmental legislation and other applicable environmental requirements relevant to activities, products, and services and regularly evaluate compliance on a regular basis;
  • Makes business decisions and employs latest techniques and use latest equipment that work towards achieving sustainable development, recycling and a reduction in pollution;
  • Ensure that our stakeholders are aware of and have the necessary skills to fulfill their environmental obligations with respect to this policy;
  • Strive to conserve resources, reduce waste and eliminate or minimise the environmental effects and risks that are associated with our industry;
  • Performs environmental assessments for the identification and control of environmental risks, encouraging consultation and participation of all our personnel in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies and procedures;
  • Respect and be aware of the heritage and cultural values relevant to the sites we operate within;
  • Set objectives, targets, and programs, and review and revise them regularly with the aim of continual improvement in environmental performance; and
  • Report and conduct structured investigations of all environmental incidents to identify root cause and implementation controls to mitigate reoccurrence.
Management and employees shall participate in constructive and cooperative consultation on environmental matters. This policy shall be reviewed periodically to ensure that it is current, relevant and effective.
